The film is also a personal one: trying to unravel the reasons why the director’s famous theater director father, Géza Pártos, felt he had no choice but to defect Hungary. O, THAT SHOW(2009)
10’ short documentary about four amazing Hungarian acrobats in the Cirque du Soleil show “O” , filmed in Las Vegas, includes excerpts from the production. Transmitted by Duna TV in 2010.
52’ documentary filmed over two years, following a Gypsy family’s emigration from a small Hungarian village to Bolton, England. The film was invited to several film festivals in Hungary and abroad and was broadcast by Hír TV of Hungary.
PARENTS WITH LIMITS(1998-2006)
72’ and 56’ versions and 3 x 52’ series) a long-term observational documentary about a mentally disabled couple bringing up two of their children filmed over 7 years.
The documentary was screened at Hungarian Film Week in 2007, at Docaviv in 2008 and was awarded a “Certificate of Merit” at the Dialektus Film Festival in 2008. The film was selected for East Silver Caravan in 2007. The 3-part version was broadcast by Duna TV and a 53’ version was broadcast by Hír TV in 2012. International distributor First Hand Films handled the sales to VRT of Belgium and NOGA TV of Israel.
75’ feature documentary about the sexuality of mentally disabled, was the first documentary completed by the company. The film received considerable international recognition with invitations to 13 film festivals and honoured with 6 awards, among them a “Special Mention” in Creative Documentaries at FIPA in 2003. It was broadcast by Duna TV of Hungary and VRT of Belgium.
